Mercy.

It feels like sweet relief when His love is poured – not dripped, not splashed, not sprayed, but poured – over us.  It covers. It soaks into us.

Fall fun.

These are the memories my daughters hold dear–the walk, the cocoa, the dipping in wax. For me, it’s all the days that come next: watching their hearts pour our gratitude for what God has poured into our lives.

Are you like a pumpkin?

Have you thanked Him today for bringing you in, scooping out the yucky stuff and making your face to shine?

Godly Courage Today

I encourage you to pay attention to the conversations you’re having or need to have. Encourage others to be brave in their conversations. Pray for Godly courage in the midst of it all.

PT for the Soul

My walk with Him is largely affected by developing the muscles of support for my walk. Some of those are the muscles of prayer, Bible Study, community, accountability, and serving.

Child of God

A few weeks ago I woke up with the reminder that “I am a child of God.” It has changed some things…

Autumn Comfort

With our children grown, my husband and I wanted to be intentional to have a family gathering so we are hosting a fall festival.

My ID

The pressure of trying to be all things to all people lessens when I am focused only on HIM being everything I need! My identity becomes the overflow of that singular focus. The honest part is…its a journey.

Do you pray for, well, you?

Circumstances will come and go in our lives. But if we focus on growing our own soul, we will be more effective (thanks to God) in any circumstance.
