These are the memories my daughters hold dear–the walk, the cocoa, the dipping in wax. For me, it’s all the days that come next: watching their hearts pour our gratitude for what God has poured into our lives.

I encourage you to pay attention to the conversations you’re having or need to have. Encourage others to be brave in their conversations. Pray for Godly courage in the midst of it all.

My walk with Him is largely affected by developing the muscles of support for my walk. Some of those are the muscles of prayer, Bible Study, community, accountability, and serving.

With our children grown, my husband and I wanted to be intentional to have a family gathering so we are hosting a fall festival.
My ID
The pressure of trying to be all things to all people lessens when I am focused only on HIM being everything I need! My identity becomes the overflow of that singular focus. The honest part is…its a journey.

One telling study showed that lack of social connection is a greater detriment to health than obesity, smoking and high blood pressure. On the the flip side, strong social connection leads to a 50% increased chance of longevity.
