What does it mean to you, that the God of the universe is not a distant Lord ruling from the heavens, but a God who actually wanted to enter into the ups and downs of everyday life? What does it mean to you, that He can relate to what’s awesome and what’s hard in your life?
Hurry into His presence daily and learn to live “freely and lightly.”
Even now, as I search God’s Word, I know He is good. As I draw close to Him, He draws close to me and whispers to be patient, to trust.
These are the memories my daughters hold dear–the walk, the cocoa, the dipping in wax. For me, it’s all the days that come next: watching their hearts pour our gratitude for what God has poured into our lives.
My walk with Him is largely affected by developing the muscles of support for my walk. Some of those are the muscles of prayer, Bible Study, community, accountability, and serving.
With our children grown, my husband and I wanted to be intentional to have a family gathering so we are hosting a fall festival.
The pressure of trying to be all things to all people lessens when I am focused only on HIM being everything I need! My identity becomes the overflow of that singular focus. The honest part is…its a journey.
