Just for fun today, we have a Pop Quiz to see how well you know the details of the Christmas story!

Test yourself, then test your family over dinner or your friends as you get together this month.

Directions: Answer True or False to each question. True responses must be supported by Scripture. Answers are below.

  1. The angel Gabriel appeared to Mary first and then Gabriel appeared to Joseph.
  2. The little drummer boy came to the manger after the other shepherds.
  3. Jesus’ ancestors include a prostitute, an adulterer, and two non-Israelites.
  4. God sent a choir of chubby angels to announce Jesus’ birth to the shepherds.
  5. Both Joseph and Mary were told that the baby was to be named “Jesus.”
  6. After the angels’ announcement, the shepherds went straight to Bethlehem to see Jesus.
