Looking Back as You Move Ahead
God is molding us, like a potter molds the clay. His ways are purposeful, careful, creative, and gentle yet firm enough to get the right effect, because He knows what He is preparing us for in the months to come, He knows how He is going to use us.
Remain.
We don’t wander off on purpose. We just get so easily distracted by something or run aimlessly.
Do I need a reminder to remain?
Hurry.
Hurry into His presence daily and learn to live “freely and lightly.”

Over and over again our God reminds us that His beauty is greater than our perception of ourselves in the mirror, or how the world would define beauty.

Even now, as I search God’s Word, I know He is good. As I draw close to Him, He draws close to me and whispers to be patient, to trust.

Mercy.
It feels like sweet relief when His love is poured – not dripped, not splashed, not sprayed, but poured – over us. It covers. It soaks into us.
